We’re making computer system upgrades for:

– updated CU Online and Mobile Banking app
– faster workflow for processing loans and applications
– and greater efficiency

What’s new:

We’re changing our core banking system to provide an enhanced banking experience for members.
With our new core system, in the future we’ll be able to:

– open new memberships and most accounts online
– accept digital signatures on many documents, saving you time
– show your “real-time” checking account balance

What’s changing:

ONLINE BANKING

You’ll need to re-enroll in CU Online (online banking, also called “It’s Me 247”) after May 2, using an Internet browser OR the new mobile app once it’s ready.

Click on the First-Time user login link and follow the instructions to have a two-factor authentication code texted or e-mailed to you. Then, set up your username and password according to to the on-screen guidelines. For example, you won’t be able to use your name as your new username.

MOBILE BANKING

After May 1, there will be a delay before you can download the new version of our Five Star FCU Mobile Banking app. You’ll log in with your new CU Online username and password if you’ve already set one up OR use the First-Time user login link.

BILL PAY

Our online Bill Pay service will only be available for members with Five Star FCU checking accounts. Your payees and other information will transfer to our new version of Bill Pay.

STATEMENTS

All Five Star FCU members will be mailed a “cut-off” statement ending on April 30, 2024. This will be sent to the address we have on file; call a branch by April 17 to make address updates. For your next mailed statement or eStatement, transactions will be dated May 1 or later.

VISA CREDIT CARD WEBSITE

You’ll now access our credit card website directly from CU Online. The first time, you’ll be prompted to re-register your information; follow the on-screen instructions.

How you can prepare:

Complete your credit card, online banking, mobile app and Bill Pay transactions before May 1, 2024. With limited ATM card and debit card access from April 30 through May 2, you also may want to keep extra cash on hand.

If you’re enrolled in eStatements, download and/or print at least 12 months of your eStatements. You won’t have online access to that history after April 30, 2024.

Please make sure we have your current address, e-mail, phone number and other contact information on file. Call a branch at 855-597-5766, option 2 by April 17 if you need to make updates.

Five Star FCU branches will be closed on Wednesday, May 1 and Thursday, May 2 as we complete testing the new system.

On Friday, May 3, we’ll reopen for business as usual. Electronic deposits like Direct Deposit and ACH, plus scheduled bill payments for May 1 will be processed on May 2 instead.
