2023 Scholarship winner announced in August
Member Jada Iwuoha, who will study Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, was awarded the Five Star FCU Scholarship this year. President/CEO Jim Whipp and Board Chairman Paul Coakley presented her with a $1,000 check in August, after Jada completed a summer internship at the University of Nebraska.
This year, we worked together with the Credit Union Foundation of MD|DC. Any written essays submitted by our members for the CU Foundation Scholarship were also judged separately by the Five Star FCU Scholarship Committee. Congratulations, Jada!
