Care in the Gap program assists discharged senior patients

In June 2021, Five Star Federal Credit Union donated $2,500 to the Saint Agnes Foundation. This gift supported the Health Institute’s Care in the Gap program, helping discharged senior patients with wrap-around services ensuring that these patients have what they need to be safe at home after their hospital stay.

Five Star FCU Board member Karen McLaughlin presented a check to Ed Lovern, Ascension Saint Agnes President and CEO, who accepted it on behalf of the Saint Agnes Foundation.

Five Star FCU, founded by Saint Agnes Hospital employees in 1969, supports initiatives of the Ascension Saint Agnes Foundation, especially those for Ascension Saint Agnes employees.
